You are about to access the app developed by Sacem to enable you to consult the works in the process of being identified.
This app is called ONI (Œuvres Non Identifiées – Unidentified works).
This service was developed in order to enable you to give any information you may have that might be of help in identifying the rights holders, i.e. the authors, composers and publishers, of the works in the process of being identified at Sacem, pursuant to Article L. 324-14 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
In this respect, we draw your attention to the fact that criminal charges may be brought against you if you knowingly give inaccurate information. The maximum penalties for forgery and use of forged documents, on the one hand, and fraud and attempted fraud, on the other hand, are respectively a maximum 3-year imprisonment term / 45 000 € fine and a maximum 5-year imprisonment term / 375 000 € fine.
In order to guarantee an appropriate use of this app and of the data it contains, you hereby commit not to reproduce, extract or use it for purposes other than the provision of information likely to help identify the rights holders of the works in the process of being identified at Sacem. In case of reproduction, extraction or use for any other purpose, you may be subject to the above referred to penalties. In this respect, we inform you that Sacem keeps records of your research in order to verify the correct use of the ONI app for the purposes defined in Article L. 324-14 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
* The information that you provide is, upon your consent, processed and intented for Sacem’s (data processor) sole use in order to help identify works in the process of being identified, pursuant to Article L. 324-14 of the French Intellectual Property Code. Such information is kept during a 6-year period unless the period of limitation is suspended because of a dispute.
